Im Herzen unseres Naturreservats liegt als kleine Oase die Etusis Lodge. Eine Reihe grasgedeckter Gebäude errichte mit Natursteinen von Etusis ist ihr Rückzugsort nach einer langen Anreise oder den Ausflügen des Tages.

Campsite
Our Campground is located on the other side of the wildlife reserve on the former Farm Habis. You can reach it from Karibib on the same road as Etusis Lodge, but turn left from the C32 following the signs. In the beautiful area all campsites are situated under the shade net, each with its own barbecue (braai) site. Our clean central shower and toilet house is available to the guests of the campsite.
The old farmhouse – live as in ancient times
Long before the lodge was established on Etusis, only the old farmhouse existed, where Hertha and Erhard Krüger lived with their three children for 52 years until 1993.
Today you can book the farmhouse – with half board (please book at least 7 days ahead) or with self-catering. Three double bedrooms, a spacious living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms as well as a terrace with a wonderful view of the Etusis plains (the sunrise is spectacular) characterize the farmhouse. The rustic decor is partly still original from the time when Etusis was an agricultural Karakul sheep farm.

Our Team
Since many years close friends of Etusis, Monica and Johan Kesslau have taken over the management of Etusis in May 2017.
Born in South Africa, Monica speaks English, Afrikaans and German. The born Namibian Johan also speaks English and Afrikaans and also understands German very well.
Our excellent food is prepared by Geena and Silvanus with the support of their team.
Our luxury tents – close up to nature
If you want to experience the African nights even intensively, our five luxury tents at the foot of the Marble Mountains are the right choice. The tents are so far apart that no one is disturbed by other guests. Three of the tents have their own shower and toilet, the others share a shower and toilet house.
Breakfast and dinner are also included in a tented overnight stay (half board).
